I'm looking for a 1GHz or faster PC (Pentium IV preferred) with a decent
amount of memory. If you have an older machine that you'd like to unload,
please email me.

Saw an ad for a HP box for about 300 that would meet your requirements.

You can have a new computer built in the Twin Cities with an AMD chip
for as little as $274 at Tran Micro. I have had very good luck with
those folks. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They seem to be more
interested in selling you what you need then what they make the most
money on. Here is a link:

Hey, I've got a lod of old, fully operational hardware available. Look
for my earlier post regarding the Athlon mobo.

I *also* have a pair of older P-III/600 laptops for sale, a Dell 3800
and an IBM X20. The Dell has 128 Mb ram and the IBM has 192 Mb.

If someone wants ALL of this stuff, I'll let it go for $750 delivered.
Otherwise the laptops are $300 each and the Athlon stuff is $350.

Post here if you're interested so that I can pick up your email
address.

thanks

Dell "refurbished" computers sometime have free or reduced shipping. I've
been able to catch deals there for as low as $179. In fact just two days
ago I nabbed a P4 (not celeron) 2.8ghz intel, 256MB, integrated
nic/modem/video with 40GB drive. cd-rom drive, XP home and tons of misc
bloatware for $179. With tax & shipping the total was about $235.
