1986 Buick LaSabre, white, 3.6L v6, all-power, cruise, body (including
trunk) rust-free except for door bottoms. Velour interior. Needs new
battery or alternator (runs and drives when jumped). Needs door latches
replaced (have new ones for you). Horizontal crack across windshield;
does not obscure vision. Heat good; AC weak. Tires and brakes good. Car
has never been smoked in. Tabs good until March.

1992 Ford Taurus, maroon, v6, AT, crank windows; cloth interior. Body
nearly flawless; glass and doors good...very nice-looking car.
Trasnmission slippy 1st to 2nd when warm (you need to ease off the
gas-peddle when accelerating at about 15mph, or it will ship and
"race"). Heat and AC good. Tires nearly new. Tabs expired September.

No dents.

$475 cash each. Location: St. Louis Park. 952-938-0460.

Just $475 EACH? What a bargain... an 19-year old non-running rusty
Buick and a slightly newer Taurus with a bad AT.

Why don't you donate them and get a nice friendly audit?

Sorry, could not resist.

Well, I'd think the Buick is probably good for hotrod parts, plenty of
good stuff in it to use for something else. The Taurus is worth the
engine only, everything else is worth about the same as dirty landfill.
I know people who've put 3 trannys in a Taurus in less than 100k miles,
not a very reliable car. If you have a good tranny for it, maybe it's
worth $475 for some kid to drive for a year or two before it craps out
again.

Just my $0.02 worth. Complaints taken after I'm paid for it.

Cheers,

In this case $.02 is a bit high for your advice. Why don't you let an
actual persective buyer determine the price and save your $.02? Also,
there's nothing about a mid-80's V-6 LeSabre that would appeal to a
hotrodder, there's plenty of Taurus' that went 200k on the original
engine/trans and if you think the standard for a $475 car is that it should
last a couple of years without any major work, then you need to get out more
